I didn't want to put my rants about the Philippines in my original blog as I didnt want to fill it with a lot of rants and stuff. So I decided to create this new blog where I would put stuff I didnt like or I think is a problem here in the Philippines, solutions if ever I can think of one and stuff I like as well.
Deep down I'm still nationalistic, I staked my future in the Philippines even though I had the chance like many filipinos out there to leave the country. I'm an IT guy by profession and had lots of chances to live in the US or Europe.. and I have had very solid offers as well specially back in the goood old days of Philippine rebirth in the Ramos times. I stood firm and told myself I could still make it in the Philippines and not be a 2nd class citizen in another land. After Estrada went to power, I wasn't as sure anymore, I felt like evil has commenced and those who are not deserving are really sucking the life out of the Philippines. I still think so today, but it gives hope that people are not more vigilant. We have a president who is there just for a lack of better options, I pray 1 good president will come .. I'm not even praying for a very honest one.. just one good one.. smart, wise and knows what to do. Driven with a plan to push the Philippines to the future and not just to make people happy. I'm still hoping.
